Good morning fashionistas!! Hope you are having a fabulous week and summer. Today I am sharing with you this outfit with one of my favorite graphic tees I own(thank you Target.) If you are headed to a concert anytime soon, this post is for you! I actually just bought tickets for my sister and I to go to ACL in Austin this October and we are beyond excited! It’s always hard for me to decide what to wear to a big show so I am here to save the trouble! Read on!
When I think of concert attire, I think of graphic tees. I love the edge they bring to outfits. I used to only wear dresses and boots to concerts because I only attended country concerts. However, now that my music taste has expanded, so have my outfits. Because of Texas weather, shorts are basically a must. I love denim cutoffs so I paired those with my graphic tank and my favorite floral wrap. I love the length because it adds some variety to my look. I finished the look with some simple black sandals to keep it casual and comfortable. Please don’t be that girl wearing wedges or heels to a concert, just don’t. Wear something you are comfortable in! I tend to always wear something with writing on it and then add some pattern of some sort to keep a fun look.
Finally, the necessories. Because the wrap is so busy, I kept it simple. I added my favorite gold fossil watch and my Black/gold club master RayBans. & that is how I put together an outfit for a concert! Hey Julia!
I’m going to ACL in October too and I’m sooooo excited! I love your long Kimono look but always feel like they make me feel shorter than I really am–I’m only 5’2″. Do you have any tips for wearing longer layering pieces without looking super short?
I never noticed feeling short but I guess that is something I am used to! haha! I say who cares?! If it’s cute on, don’t worry how tall or short it makes you look! I am the same height as well and I think the key is to contrast the long kimono with the shorts so your legs still show and aren’t chopped off.
Love this look! Perfect for a summer night at a concert! I am so obsessed with Sam Smith right now, totally going to check out more of the songs you have listed!
