spring break finds!
I searched and searched for spring dresses for a girl on a budget and I hit the jackpot! They are all on prime and under $40! I am so obsessed and shared a try on on my instastory with more details but I wanted to do them justice and share on my blog too! Scroll down to see how I styled these dresses and shop them all at the bottom of my post!
#1 Red Checked Babyboll dress: This dress screams spring/summer. I love how classy it is and how it adds a fun twist on the typical gingham dress. This style is super flattering and I just love the color for the new season. Did I mention it’s under $20?!
#2 Lavender Shift Dress: This dress is the PERFECT Easter Sunday, bridal shower, baby shower dress you always dreamed of. It is such good quality, not see through and has the cutest capped sleeves and ruffle detail. It also comes in several colors but this one was too spring not to grab.
#3 White Button down Linen Dress: For the beach goer! I can’t get over how much I love this dress. The fit is super flattering and the button detail makes it so unique. I love it paired with espadrille wedges and a fun straw bag for your spring break travels!
#4 Light Blue T-shirt Dress: Last but not least, this t-shirt dress has the cutest of details, not to mention it literally feels like a nightgown. I love it styled with a denim jacket and wedges. You could also dress it down with some converse or white tennies for spring/summer on the go!
I hope you loved these finds as much as me. Oh, and they will ship to you just in time for your travel plans or staycation! Thanks for reading and following along, ILY!

wrap queen
Every Christmas I always wait until Christmas Eve to wrap allll my presents. Not sure why, just really good at procrastinating but not this year!! I am loving this gold/black reversible wrapping paper I got from American Greetings on Amazon(linked at bottom). Whoever created reversible wrapping paper was really thinking! I love how many different patterns I can choose from for such a good price. Read below for details about my Christmas pjs!
Each year I wrap gifts, I like to pick a theme for them so they all coordinate/match well together. That might sound silly but it motivates me to wrap them in a cute, thoughtful way. I highly recommend wrapping your gifts as opposed to using gift bags. It is just more thoughtful and special to open! I got these fun gold metallic bows from TJMaxx and found similar below ready to shop!
One of my favorite parts about the holidays is time spent in comfy, festive pjs with family and friends drinking hot coco and watching cheesy Hallmark movies. It just really puts me in the Christmas spirit and makes me feel like a kid again. The fair isle pj pants are from Gap last year but I found some just like them below! I love the pattern, style and material. They are SOOO soft and thin which is good if you get hot at night like me. I always love wearing a comfy, simple sweater with pj pants to keep warm! This sweater is the perfect winter staple because it can be worn casual like so or easily dressed up with a scarf and coat for a night out! Last but not least, these slippers are EVERYTHING! My mom(I mean Santa) got me and my sister these 2 Christmases ago and I am still wearing them nonstop and they look just as new as when I first got them. They are totally worth the price and they can be worn like I am here or folded down to show off the sherpa interior. Definitely a great stocking stuffer or treat yo self gift.
Happy wrapping y’all!!
XOXO, LPOC
Thanks to American Greetings for the fun wrapping paper!

yes you camo
“I wouldn’t be caught dead in camo”….I said those words. But here I am, styling camo pants 3 different ways because I learned to love this trend! I love that it can almost be worn as a neutral but adds a fun pattern to any look. I will say, camo pants can go south fast so I am here to give you 3 different ways to style camo in your closet so you can wear them confidently!
Style #1: Camo Chic
For this first look, I styled my camo pants like I would for a day at work. I added a simple black ruffle top to dress it up and my go-to nude mules that added the perfect touch of simplicity to tame the camo. I just love the army green color and how these pants transition so easy into fall.
Style #2: Casual Camo
For my second look styling these same pants, I wanted to dress them down for a day of running errands or traveling. I styled my pants with this comfy grey v-neck and switched out the mules for slip ons. I switched my jewelry from my Fossil watch and statement earrings to my Apple watch and simple(new fav necklace). This look will be on REPEAT this fall, travel wear here I come!
Style #3: City Camo
Last but not least, my third way to style my camo pants was for a day in the city or day of shopping! I changed up my look and this outfit definitely made me feel cooler than I am. I put on a basic white tee(the best one I might add) and layered over it a denim jacket. I really love how camo goes well with so many things, especially denim! I styled my pants with these chestnut dupe sandals and switched out my purse for my favorite fall accessory, this faux leather backpack that is holding up sooo well and carrying all my junk.
Basically, if you found yourself saying, I could NEVER pull off camo, think again ladies, you can pull off anything with a little confidence!
Thanks for taking the time to read my little blog, you rock! I would love to get to know my readers, leave a comment below and introduce yourself!

baches be crazy
WOW, our wedding was already 3 weeks ago and it was a whirlwind of fun, family and so much joy! I am just now getting around to looking through pictures and reminiscing on all things wedding. It was such an amazing time of our lives preparing for marriage and it has been so fun being a wife so far! I do think I might have missed my calling as a wedding planner because I had WAYY too much fun planning ours and seeing it come to life on June 16th! I had the BEST bachelorette party a week before our wedding thanks to my amazing sister, MOH Megan and my bff/MOH Taylor, it was perfect and exactly what I always imagined my bach party would be life! We spent the weekend in Dallas in a townhouse in Deep Ellum and I wanted to share what we did because it was too much fun! Read below!
Necessity: pack cute pj’s
But how cute are these invites…
Our townhouse was rented off of Airbnb and it was a dream. It was so chic and spacious for 11 girls and even had an adorable terrace patio out front! It was in a great spot for commuting around Dallas all weekend and even had speakers in the walls, yes please!
The master bedroom was oh so dreamy!
First night:
We arrived and got settled in our townhome before getting ready to go out for dinner/drinks. We ate dinner at Jose’s in Dallas and OH MY GOODNESS, soooo freaking good y’all! Their margaritas are incredible and 10/10 recommend the street corn. Also, look at it…soo cute! After dinner, we went to Deep Ellum for some drinks and went to Dot’s, if you haven’t been, you need to go this summer! They have a huge patio and the drinks are really affordable for Dallas!
My mommas!!
All my girls in one place, TOO much fun!
My MOH’s, they did such an amazing job decorating our house for the weekend! ALLL the pics.
Day 2: We slept in and headed to yoga at Klyde Warren Park before brunching at Americano which was oh so yummy! It’s located in the Joule hotel and would definitely recommend trying the breakfast pizza! After, we got some much needed caffeine at Weekend coffee(also located in the Joule)! We then headed to North Park mall for some midday retail therapy!
After shopping, we went to Sprinkles for some cupcakes for dessert after dinner! We were wearing our adorable matching fries before guys t-shirts to shop and then headed to Shake Shack(my fav Dallas spot) and they loved our shirts so much they brought use FREE ice cream..day made!
It was just THE best girls weekend ever and I cannot thank my MOH’s enough for all the planning and work they put into making my bach party oh so special!
Thanks so much for reading, I’ll be sharing more wedding photos soon so stay tuned!

engagements pt. 3
I apologize in advance for the amount of times I will post these engagement pictures because they might just be my favorite. My sister, Patrick and I headed down to downtown Dallas for our last round of engagement pictures and hit up some of my favorite spots including Klyde Warren Park. Scroll on down and keep scrolling because I couldn’t’ narrow down my favorites so sorry in advance…
First, we headed to the the Nylo Dallas rooftop(I don’t recommend it, we got kicked out right after we quickly snapped a few pictures, haha) but it was definitely a picture perfect spot for a view of the Dallas skyline.
Next stop: Klyde Warren park at sunset, yes yes yes.
Might just be my favs…
and a few bloopers…
Shout out to my amazingly talented sister, Megan for putting up with us during all these pictures and through all of Patrick’s complaints, you are a champ(you too Pat). We are 40 days away people, 40 freaking days!!!
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful start to your week!
XOXO, LPOC
